729645 2008-12-16 04:17:00 Hi

When I run MSConfig and go to the "Services" tab Logical disc Manager is unticked.

If I tick it and click apply and then restart and go back to it in MSConfig LDM seems to be hanging at "Start pending" and seems to prevent the "Network Connections" service from running - also flagged as "Start pending". It also seems to slow down the log off process drastically. If I untick LDM and start again Network Connections is fine and log off is swift

The other day I uninstalled about 500 meg of application software, with LDM unticked, but this amount was not reflected in the C drive space usage stats in the drive Properties in My Computer

I'm running XP Pro with SP2

Thanks

729653 2008-12-16 21:23:00 Logical disk manager properties (local computer), should be on automatic

Logical disk manager admin service properties, should be on manual

Remember to tick both in msconfig, if theyre still unticked
