730933 2008-12-19 04:51:00 Have you tried resetting it?

I take it youre not using the wireless part of it now, since youre here now?

Whatever youre trying to connect to it, are they using the same encryption / password?

730934 2008-12-19 05:14:00 Who owns the WRT54GS?

Turn off speedbooster, unless both your client & router support it, it'll lead to slower speeds from what I understand.

Try a factory reset and / or a firmware update. Things like the Linksys are very flexible with their upgrades

730938 2008-12-19 18:22:00 To reset a router there should be a pin hole reset button, you normally insert a fine probe and hold the button down for aprox 10 seconds, but its a good idea to browse all the settings and write down the relevant ones,DNS servers, gateways etc, all the stuff your ISP provided you with.
Depending on your ISP, its easy to get them to help you set up your router...if you can stand the wait for the help desk to answer your call.
Good luck.
