I believe that my 1year old son had pressed bottons and it gave me message regarding CTRL key... since mouse was working I was smart enough to restart my comp and now I need a user ID password to type in and... Can someone help? |

| 730885 | 2008-12-19 03:26:00 | Welcome to PressF1. :) First try this - Turn the PC right off - if you can't do this normally, hold the power button down until the PC turns off (about 7 seconds). Unplug the mouse and keyboard from the back, blow dust out of the connections, the plug them both back in again nice and tight (double check they are all the way in). Turn the PC on, and try again. A useful way to test if the keybord is responding is to tap the num lock button - the num lock light should flick on and off. While you're doing that - have a look at the connection. Does it look like this (www.spectronicsinoz.com) (PS2)or this (www.gpsangler.co.uk)(USB)? |
