| 730844 | 2008-12-18 23:06:00 | :badpc: When i turn on my brothers Compaq Evo N1020v, after about 5 minutes of use, the backlight of the screen turns off. The period of time the backlight works decreases if restarted in succession (the more you wait between reboots, the longer it stays on). You can still faintly see the things on screen, but you have to strain your eyes very hard. The screen functions normally if you connect to an external display. The computer is running windows XP but the problem still persists even with a Ubuntu live CD. Thanks in advance... |
