| 730069 | 2008-12-17 06:19:00 | Press ctrl + Alt+ Delete - hopefully the task manager will open - if it does, click File / New Task / Type in explorer Press Enter - that should bring up your desktop. If that doesn't work (but look at this any way)- as long as the task manager pops up - file / new task, type in regedit - navigate to the following keys -- HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows NT/Current Version/Image File Execution Options/Explorer.exe Remove The “Debugger” registry key if its present - reboot. You should have your desktop back - If you do, get malwarebytes, Spyware terminator, Spybot S&D from my sig - download and install do full scans. Get Hijackthis (www.trendsecure.com) - run and do a scan / save a log - copy the complete log back here. |

| 730070 | 2008-12-17 06:27:00 | i cant find HKLM i can only get HKEY_current Configure >> sofyware>> Microsoft>>Windows>>Current Version>>internet setting | mohadino (14141) | ||
| 730071 | 2008-12-17 06:41:00 | ONLY HKEY_current Configure ??? This is what you should have (www.imagef1.net.nz) - Hmmmmm OK looks like somethings gone real turtle. Reboot keep pressing F8 - IF you get the menus, select safe mode with command prompt "hopefully" you'll get a prompt box. IF you do type in C:\windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe <Press Enter> "hopefully" system restore will pop open - if it does, run the system back a day or two. Reboot - see what happens - some bug has gotten in and caused all sorts of problems. Apart from the infected PC have you got access to another working One ? |

| 730073 | 2008-12-17 06:54:00 | Navigate to HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows NT/Current Version/Image File Execution Options/Explorer.exe Remove The “Debugger” registry key if its present - reboot Note: HKLM is the short way of writing HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE ( MIDDLE one in the picture) WARNING - be VERY careful to expand the paths correctly and ONLY delete the last key mentioned other wise there may be troubles - if any of the keys are not present STOP- dont just delete one that "looks like the one" |
