Thank you Rob,question is,which of that lot do you press to get windows result?

525561 2007-02-18 22:16:00 The apple key replaces the windows key.
Holding down the apple key and striking other key combinations.

If you want to know about whats on the mac you would click the little apple button top left of the screen, then select "about this/my mac"

Can we presume Apple has a task manager?Used to shut down programs as per Windows.

525563 2007-02-19 01:05:00 The nearest equivalent Mac command for Ctrl Alt Delete in Windows is Option, Command, Esc. (Option is also the alt key, Command is the Apple key).

With an older Mac with a one button mouse or track pad Ctrl click works as right click.

525565 2007-02-19 02:06:00 Well, now that you knowledgeables are on this subject, it seems time for a wee hijack to maybe answer my (similar) query.

I've got used to Ctrl Alt Delete for Task Manager, but that does nothing on what I'm on now. And I'd like to know its quick version...
.
It's a Packard Bell combo (tower, monitor & keyboard) about 5 years old.
