The restore CD's normally put the computer back to the way it was shipped along with all applications etc. Any partitions created after shipping will be deleted and goodbye to all data created or downloaded. Not enough information for me to attempt a definitive answer. Feel free to jump in though. As people like myself, pctek, and wainui among others would tell people they need to put data on other media and back it up or copy before you use partitioning tools. I tell people that I will not be responsible for loss of documents etc. Some people do not care and others do. |
