| 527599 | 2007-02-25 03:54:00 | Single man. Need business shirts for work. Means I iron. Unhappily. Hate ironing. Simplest way to iron a shirt is to put it in the dryer on high for 2 - 3 minutes while you eat your toast and then put it on hot. Works like a dream. |

Now I delight in not having to - and my liberated lot make jokes about those who're still "slaves to the ironing board." BUT tongues are in cheeks. And if the iron is on anyway, a quick flick over the flat stuff makes storage sense. |

Sheets hang on the floor which is good for the floor, bad for the sheets, handkerchiefs are so small that nothing happens to the visible progress in either pile, shirts are full of stupid bits, trousers go mad at the drop of a hat and life goes bad. Now we have this plastic money, ironing the banknotes has lost it's functionality. A couple of tea towels ironed and the day starts to look like something has been achieved. (The main thing to get ironed is still the ironing board cover unfortunately, totally unproductive.) | R2x1 (4628) | ||
