528059 2007-02-26 08:57:00 You mean you hope more people dont start complaining about things so trival?

Same here.

I have to ask, Do the people that whinge about others quoting actually fail to recognize they have read that passage moments before and read it again?

I mean, hell, whats the issue, You can see its quoted, You know what it says, Just read whatever has been added and move onto the next post.

528060 2007-02-26 23:08:00 I know ACC looks cumbersome and faulty but we are lucky to have it. A friend of mine from Australia, where you can be sued for accidents, tells me that our children's playgrounds are noticeably more challenging than Australian ones. And they were involved with trying to set up a small club but couldn't because of the huge third party insurance premiums.

So a no fault system might have it's own problems but it is much better for the whole community. And I'm speaking from the point of view of a profession which lost a huge amount of work because of ACC. Personal injury lawyers simply don't exist in NZ. :(

But there are a few that make a living fighting the boneheaded decisions that sometimes pop out of ACC :D
