Tricks I don't know about obviously.....
Look up above the posts, click on User CP. (Or, select User Control Panel from Forum Jump.) Under User Options, select Edit Options, > Scroll down to Thread Display Options, and you find Number of Posts to Show Per Page.
And, lots of other stuff to mess up your free time.

The best Option to make pages load faster for DialUp customers like me is to remove "Show Signatures".

Occasionally I'm reminded those exist when I follow someone's link to an old thread.
And then I breathe a sigh or relief I don't usually have to wade through all those extra lines to see what someone's actually saying in realtime.

I'm not counting helpful sigs like Speedy's, which is constantly used for a useful purpose, but some of the others must be really booring after the 20th/50th time of reading...

(No, of course I don't mean yours - whoever's reading this - just those other people's sigs..)
