| 731191 | 2008-12-20 08:22:00 | Hello all Just have a little annoyance here. I wish to attached an external monitor (via VGA out) to my laptop (Compaq Presario V3000, Integrated GeGo6150) and play video file on it. However when I do so, such that when I attach a LCD monitor to my laptop VGA out, and extends my current desktop to the external monitor desktop, video files would not play. The player would either freeze or crash or display the last frame that it was displaying while it was on my laptop's desktop. Of course once I drag the video file from the external monitor back to my laptop's monitor everything would start playing again. Any suggestions? Have all laptop drivers installed, running XP Pro-SP2. Can it be that my onboard graphic chip is too weak to do this type of work? I can of course view pictures and webpages off the external monitor, just cant play video files on it. Many thanks :) |
