| 731134 | 2008-12-19 21:57:00 | Hi to all, well I have a laptop with windows vista home and Malwarebytes installed, today I wanted to update malwarebytes database but I tells me the programs was unable to update cuz either im not connected to the internet or my firewall is not allowing it. Since I am obviously connected to the internet then I went and allowed malwarebytes on my firewall but it still gives me the same error. Anyone knows how can I fix this? Thanks in advance!! |

There could also be other malware in the PC that is stopping it from updating (thats the most common cause) - get spyware terminator from my sig, install and run in full scan mode - then retry Malwarebytes If that fails then try uninstalling Malwarebytes and reinstalling it. |

| 731138 | 2008-12-19 22:05:00 | Well I tried the other mirror, I tried turning off the firewall and nothing worked, so I uninstalle and reinstalled again malwarebytes and it updated by it self, but then I tried to run the update mannually and it gave me the same error again. On my desktop with XP it updates manually fine so im guesing its something with vista. |

| 731141 | 2008-12-19 22:15:00 | That error usually means its update servers are down. I had the same error here the other day. It wont be a firewall prob, as I'm not using one here. That error still comes up. You'll just have to wait till theyre up again (if both are dead) |
