1433734 2017-04-03 00:42:00 Should I be worried about some impending doom? I put my lappie into hibernation by closing the screen. I do this frequently but this is the first time I've had this problem. When I tried to restart it, it wouldn't - indicator lights went on, but no activity. just a blank screen. I forced it to shut down, and when I restarted it there was no problem.

Is this something I should be worried about? The machine is still under warranty, but its the only machine I've got and I'd hate be without it for even a few days.

It's a Toshiba Satellite P70-A-104 Notebook running Win 8.1

Thanks for any help.

1433735 2017-04-03 06:05:00 See if there are any newer Graphic Drivers. When a computer wont come out of hibernation, esp if there's other activity, its usually because the graphics wont fire back up, thus giving the blank screen, and also working when you restart ( they then load as they should). wainuitech (129)
