1433718 2017-04-02 11:18:00 Just a curious question. I tried it on my old Epson 2100 and double side printing meant you reload the paper after the first page and click the button. Given how the paper passes thru the printer, are double side inkjet printers possible or are they only available with laser printers?

Thanks.

1433720 2017-04-02 20:54:00 I have an Epson printer. Not multifunction.

In the printer preferences, I selected double sided. It prints, then eats the paper back, then flips it itself at the back, and prints the other side.
I think most are able to do that.

1433721 2017-04-02 22:45:00 My faithful old Canon Pixma does as pctek describes when I select "duplex". Years ago I had an even older Canon printer I had to reload the paper. At the time I was printing a lot of cards for young relatives and my bin was often quite full of mishaps! Goodness knows what will come next, I guess they get more and more idiotproof, the printers, not the kids. Marnie (4574)
1433722 2017-05-01 03:15:00 My canon Pixma iP4600 does, it prints one side, then pulls it back and does the other side. Need to select "duplex". Brucem (8688)
1433723 2017-06-01 08:24:00 Generally latest inkjet printers supports duplex printing(double sided printing). But your model only supports Manual Duplex printing(manual double sided printing). If you want you have to buy latest duplex inkjet printer. robertjones4849 (17539)
1433724 2017-06-01 22:14:00 Thanks. Not sure if high end photo printers are only single side though ... maybe they are. I mean it would smear the print right. Nomad (952)

1433727 2017-06-02 05:31:00 The LC233 cartridges for that printer are pretty good value considering the cost of the printer. wratterus (105)
