| 1433464 | 2017-03-28 09:20:00 | Which of the following is NOT true about Process Creation and Termination? a. Parent may temporarily halt the execution of a child process via wait() b. Parent may terminate a child process via abort() c. exec() system call replaces the process' memory with a new program d. Exit() is a system call used to indicate OS that the process has finished executing all of its program and OS may delete it from RAM My guess is a. I'm baffled, what's the correct answer? Reason being, "temporarily halt". All the rest seem accurate and can't find a flaw. Thank you |
