2017-03-23 05:51:00 | I'm considering getting one of these. Although I love my S4 Mini I'm itching to get this one. Does anyone have one and can you comment on how you like it or not? Thanks. | Greg (193) | |
2017-03-23 07:51:00 | A workmate has one, very expensive but also very nice. My Note 5 is already very good but it looks pretty ordinary next to his. Personally I tend to buy last years model 2nd hand because I can't talk myself into that kind of money. You might get a S6 Edge for a good price and they are nearly as good.

2017-03-23 18:43:00 | Work buddy has one. My Note 5 looks sad and pathetic next to her S7. I say go for it. I've got about 6 more monthly payments owing on the Note 5 then it's toast. It'll be replaced by the S7 or maybe the S8 depending on what deals are around at the time, if any.

2017-03-23 19:23:00 | I went from the S5, and was concerned about not being able to replace the battery. But it so much smoother operating than the 5 and a little smaller for my pocket.Love it,especially the latest OS-Nougat. | Neil McC (178) | |
2017-03-23 20:17:00 | I'll possibly get it off TradeMe, being careful of the many rip-off merchants out there. Or maybe get it off 2Degrees who have a reasonable reputation. | Greg (193) | |
2017-03-23 20:29:00 | Go for it! I've had my S7 for about 2 months now, and I can't think of a single bad thing to say about it, or even to contemplate a wish list. This from someone whose been around portable phones since the first 5kg bricks. As far as the handset is concerned, it's the closest to my (previously) favourite Nokia 800. That was great except after only a couple years of use, the motherboard decided to quit on me, and in mistaken loyalty to Microsoft, I replaced the 800 with a Nokia 635. After 18 months with the 635, I made my second mistake which was to upgrade from Windows 8.1 to WP10, and I was still waiting for Cortana to be launched in NZ a year later. I can't imagine going back to a Microsoft Windows phone. The S7 upgraded to Nougat within the first week without the flawed procedures and cumbersome Microsoft BS. Now I have a phone which flawlessly syncs with my laptop and tablet, and also runs Outlook and versions of Office 365. Yup, go for it! Just read Greg's input, and that reminded me of the after sales service you get from Samsung. Samsung have some shopping mall kiosks staffed by Samsung people and they're available to ask questions of should you have any. The closest to me is at Sylvia Park, and their kiosk was still manned at 6:30pm on a recent Sunday. I had a question on my S7, and I got an immediate friendly answer - and more information as the discussion widened.:thumbs:

2017-03-26 10:50:00 | Wife has one and seems to like it. I have an S5. Things I've noticed that are better... 1. Camera. Takes quick shots and has a few more tweaking options. 2. Fingerprint locking...actually seems to work. The one on the S5 is rubbish. 3. Speed. Everything opens a lot quicker. Battery life doesn't seem to have improved over my S5 but it isn't worse so if you're a moderate user you will easy get a day out of it.
