| 1432430 | 2017-03-03 03:53:00 | I have had ipod for awhile and want to replace it with something is not so restrictive/proprietary. Its a pain to Synch /Download music thru iTunes only from a PC tied to it. I cant just dump MP3 files on it without having to go thru iTunes on the PC it is tied to. Any recommemded good alternative music players out there with Bluetooth capability? I dont really care for fancy screen. I want something i can hook up to using my Bluetooth headset or plug into my Cars USB slot and play music that way |

Or Direct download page www.imobie.com Link on the left under Thanks for choosing PodTrans you can transfer as many as you want, Last time I reloaded mine was 168 in one go. There are two types depending on the age of your itunes |

Specifically I want to be able to transfer music from my iPod Touch to PC AND also would be nice to put music from any PC onto my iPod touch without using iTunes at all. E.g if I am at work and i come across a tune, i just plug my iPod to laptop and drop the music on it from my work laptop and the be able to do the same for my home PC Thanks |

Personally though I'd just use a smartphone, has all the same features, can be had at a similar price, and you can make phone calls with it. Get one with an SD card slot and you have all the music storage you'd ever want. Surprised people even still buy Ipods especially the touch which seems to just be an Iphone without the phone part, they are a great device but kinda redundant these days. |

| 1432434 | 2017-03-03 08:39:00 | No idea about an ipod touch, should work though. I only have a mini ipod, its one I won a few years back, wouldn't actually buy one. Its got naff all on it at the moment, as the whole thing got corrupted and had to reload it (still working on the rest) All you do with podtrans is plug in the ipod, and transfer music, etc which ever you want. Below - Plug in ipod, Select what you want to do: 7908 To transfer to PC, select the songs from the list, or the lot - copy to PC: 7909 Select the destination Folder, and away it goes. To Add songs to the Ipod, click the + to add: 7910 Select the songs you want, and it transfers them. I think you still need iTunes installed , only reason I have it installed is to buy music and the odd movie. |

| 1432435 | 2017-03-03 10:51:00 | Cheers Wainui. I will give that a try. Dugimodo, i plug my ipod to my cars USB and then l mostly leave it there until the next time i need to update the content of my ipod. I prefer not to keep plugging unplugging phones to my cars USB slot every time i get in and out. Plus my iphone doesnt have ton of space unfortunately. |

| 1432437 | 2017-03-03 18:28:00 | I plug one of these into my car USB and leave it there www.pbtech.co.nz Fits more music than I ever need and is dirt cheap, relies on your car stereo doing the playback but I just leave mine set to random and it's perfect. Can't see why you'd use an Ipod for that either, flash drive for the car, smartphone for portable, sorted. |

| 1432439 | 2017-03-15 03:12:00 | I'm dreading the day my Ipod gives up and has to be replaced. I've yet to find an alternative that has the battery life and storage |
