1433728 2017-06-03 08:02:00 Thanks. Not sure if high end photo printers are only single side though ... maybe they are. I mean it would smear the print right.

Given that high end photo paper has a right-side up / wrong-side up issue, then a decent photo printer (meant exclusively for photos) will probably not offer duplex.

Photo paper is a bit heavier also, so may suffer more trauma in being rolled over. Most photo printers aim for a fairly straight print path with a minimum of contact with rollers.

Inkjet printers that do offer duplex typically pause after ejecting the first side. This is a deliberate drying time before drawing the paper back in.
Given the heavier 100% wetting of a photo surface it would also likely involve a longer drying time as well.

1433729 2017-06-03 09:13:00 That makes sense.

Yeah, you can get double sided photo papers in both matte and a satin or gloss finish but most are single sided. Got a second hand newer printer Epson R2880 and it is also not double side printing.

I'm after a A3 fine art photo printer. Ie a 8 or so ink cartridge system. :)

1433732 2017-06-09 10:08:00 not all the ink jet printer would smear. But some. There are several good printer with duplex and photo printing options with out smear. I know some in hp. robertjones4849 (17539)
1433733 2017-06-13 00:08:00 They are too expensive new anyway, just stick to the Canons and Epsons. HP doesn't seem to have A3 printers of the photo category. This is the closest.
