I was just getting at what a political nightmare it is and how any elected government is unlikely to tackle it unless they have to. We will never agree about NZ "needing" 10 million people though. It was a great country when I was a kid and there were 3 million, I like to think it's a great country still with 4.xx If it was up to me I'd stop it now before it gets any worse. I'm sure we don't need smog, more traffic congestion, larger gangs, and all the other problems that go with more people just so you can enjoy an economy and services closer to that of a larger country. I'll happily pay a bit more for broadband if I can still go to the beach and find a clear stretch of sand to walk on without tripping over people. |

Murial Newman’s Political, Religious, or Personal beliefs have nothing whatsoever to do with it. She is just reporting what scientists have now found and what Dr John Bates, who retired last year from the position of Principal Scientist at NOAA’s National Climatic Data Centre, has admitted. Add what he has written to the Climategate E-Mails and there can be no doubt that the whole thing is a Rort and a wonderful example of the shortfalls of Pseudoscience. :rolleyes: |
