1433887 2017-04-07 04:27:00 Running Windows 10 64bit
Somehow I have managed to get ourluckysites on my laptop
It doesn't show in add/ remove programs... malwarebytes hasn't found it
Went thru registry and deleted anything with ourluckysites in the title
Have scanned with Housecall... Avast Antivirus
Have run CCleaner
Tried Spybot... but it just wouldn't work
Have reset my IE and Chrome and managed add ons
Ran hijack this and removed any listings of it
Any ideas on how to get rid of it please?

1433888 2017-04-07 04:50:00 Try Zemana portable Direct download link (www.zemana.com), as well as hitman pro trial www.hitmanpro.com wainuitech (129)
1433889 2017-04-07 05:14:00 It probably changed some of the program shortcuts , especially the chrome & IE shortcut icon .
Right click the shortcut, properties & make sure it isnt at the end of "...Chrome\Application\chrome.exe"

malwaretips.com
"... it will also append the argument ourluckysites.xxx to random Windows shortcuts on your desktop and your Windows Start Menu "

also look in scheduled tasks , sometimes they sneak themselves in there . And check startup items (msconfig)

Also check your DNS hasnt changed to a bogus DNS : (less common)
in dos box, cmd prompt
ipconfig /all , look at the DNS number , google it & see who that DNS belongs to (should be your ISP)
if the DNS no is the router, login to the router & see what its using for a DNS .

1433890 2017-04-07 06:00:00 Ok.. thank u for that info ...Zemana picked it up so I deleted it... hitman found only tracking cookies... rebooted. Opened IE and ourluckysites was still there .. checks IE shortcut and it had added itself there ... so ourluckysites is now gone
Thanx again for that much appreciated
