| 1432934 | 2017-03-17 02:35:00 | Hiya all, I am planning a photography trip to the south island. Generally when do the colours peak? Mid to late April? Areas of Tekapo, Twizel, Wanaka and maybe Cromwell, is Cromwell worth it? Thanks. |

Autumn colours are starting here (Invercargill) now, but we don't get the spectacular ones that Central gets. I think I am saying, that the autumn colours may be earlier this year.
