| 732232 | 2008-12-24 07:20:00 | I was going to wait until my sub ran out and then uninstall it but yesterday it supposedly detected a Generic.dx Trojan in all my BigFish games and then quarrantined them. BigFishGames responded quickly advising that their games are guaranteed virus free and said they were working with McAfee who have now released an update. I was able to restore my games from quarrantine but apparently some aren't so lucky and will have to download them again. I feel sorry for the BigFishGames staff dealing with it all at this time of the year. | bellbird (6169) | ||
| 732233 | 2008-12-24 07:35:00 | I could say the same with NOD32  I was downloading the suffering again (1.2 GB game lol / which is a legit / free game from Gameplanet a NZ site). Till NOD32 screwed it. After it had finished downloading, it detected win32.statik in one of its files. Too bad if I wanted to submit it, whatever file it was / is. I'm not planning on uploading a 1.2 GB file to Eset to find out Avast found a similar thing in this same file, but after I told them of the false + they updated Avast and fixed it Lucky data usage is free when you get files off Gameplanet. Or I would have sent a bill to Eset for getting it and NOD32 ruining it |

| 732234 | 2008-12-24 07:50:00 | I was downloading Dracula Origin from Frogwares recently and it took 7 hours! Somewhere during the download I'd exceeded my 3GB broadband and was on dialup. | bellbird (6169) | ||
