| 529408 | 2007-03-02 06:21:00 | I was just reading a bit in the Herald about Banks wanting their own domain extention to help stop phishing etc. The eye opener was the list of moderated domain extentions as follows: The current moderated addresses are .govt, .cri, .parliament, .iwi and .mil Can anyone tell me how iwi gets it's own little place there, or was this one of the 'settlements' from the treaty negotiations? The net wasn't around when Maori signed the treaty... my recollection was that it came a long time after. I think I'll just shake my head yet again and mumble off into the wilderness :confused: |
