| 529366 | 2007-03-03 20:06:00 | Judging by the number of people in the US of A who have been cleared by DNA evidence whilst on death row - it would be unwise to make any link between the outcome of Court cases and what really happened. It gets particularly difficult when people fabricate evidence - which unfortunately people involved in both sides of Court cases have a tendency to do to help their side win. | Twelvevolts (5457) | ||

Even if he didnt do it, his name has been dragged through the mud now, public image is part of his job, especially being a high profile job. No matter who you are, if one of your friends went to court for rape, you will look different at them, guilty or not guilty. |

| 529371 | 2007-03-04 06:04:00 | From todays Harold. "Luke McIndoe, a 24-year-old drama teacher at Wairarapa College, fled Masterton with Chelsea Havard, a student from his drama class, on February 21. The pair's relationship was discovered by other students - He has resigned from the school, which has launched an investigation." And, "A small-town GP has been investigated by health authorities for having an affair with a patient nearly 20 years ago - The woman's ex-husband laid a complaint with the Health and Disability Commissioner last year; the commissioner has found there are grounds to take disciplinary action." Yet we have a Policeman, in a position of power and authority, who was promoted four times after it was known he had indulged in far worse activities. There are two points being discussed here. Should he get his job back and whether or not he actually broke the law. On breaking the law he was found "not guilty" on the question of whether he should get his job back I would say he should not have been given his current job in the first place. We will soon see how deep this really runs. You have not heard the last of this, do a little detective work of your own, dig around, you will be even more disgusted than, most of you, are now. |

If you mean the level to which a "blind eye" was turned so as to protect their own I am more angry than disgusted, if you are suggesting that I get any kind of titillation from this then, you sir, can go and crawl back under your slimy little rock. |
