My thoughts exactly Murray-pinch all the fuses and chuck them as far as you can-or just keep them as momentos of a deed well done. It should take them a couple of days to get everything up and running again-not to mention the cost of an electrician and fuses. A man after my own heart! Ever thought about spraying out roadside speed cameras-on second thoughts I'd better not go any further with that one!! Had a hassle many years ago when I studied clasical piano in a flat (the concrete jungle type of flat in Glasgow). The young guy below was studying as I was but the piano caused him some hassles, as it would. His father banged on the ceiling and the door so I simply banged back-a bit bolshie of me I must admit but that is just the way I am being Scottish by birth. We eventually came to an arrangement after a stand off with said daddy-I start earlier and finish earlier. No more banging. I still like your idea about the fuses though-just appeals to my naure as how to sort a bunch of dick heads out. Hope he gets the problem solved. The Council are as much use as t***s on a bull when it comes to noise control. They simply have no powers unless they call the police to sort the problem out. Regards Gordon |
