skepdic.com

I would really not like to tell you what I thought I saw in the Email I just received.

ASCII used to be very good on a 132 character line printer some time ago. Before DOS that was. Also before the ordinary person had a PC and a mainframe cost a million or two pounds.

We rented time on the mainframe.

But dopey Email IMHO.

I use Xtra for my ISP and I make no apology for that. I don't use the MSN Xtra for my home page and never have.

528253 2007-02-26 09:19:00 Really ? My parents got an email from xtra@xtra.co.nz saying to keep a watch on their inbox for a mail from them....apparently it's a surprise.

Do I have the right to be suspicious ?
The right ? T H E - - - R I G H T ? ? ?
Dammit, its your duty to mistrust those who have in the past done mightily unto you. (Then wet all their toilet paper.)
Spam telling you you are going to be spammed. What sort of people is telescum aiming this lot at ?

Well, what a fizzer!

On the strength of PJ's post, I opened yesterday's unread Max Newman's weekly Xtra email.
Seems like the wink/wink/nudge/nudge is ultimately going to be nothing more interesting than:

"Good things happen when Xtra Meets Yahoo."

Back to living dangerously with my potplant...

528258 2007-02-27 04:03:00 A dating site for people who can't get DSL? Oh well, everyone should have a hobby of some sort, and if you can't get DSL . . . Graham L (2)
