2007-03-01 23:12:00 | The fishing is just starting here in the local reservoirs . Here's where I went today ( . imagef1 . net . nz/files/000_0004 . jpg" target="_blank">www . imagef1 . net . nz) (Thurs, Mar 01, 2007) Another pix ( . imagef1 . net . nz/files/000_0001 . jpg" target="_blank">www . imagef1 . net . nz) . . . . . . and another ( . imagef1 . net . nz/files/100_0089 . jpg" target="_blank">www . imagef1 . net . nz) We call that close-in tree a "Pepper Tree" . The weather is shirt-sleeve temps and a very soft breeze in the air with the sage smell and wetness from the last rains a couple of days ago . This body of water is full to the top . . well, about 3 feet below overflow . . . but it was higher a day or so ago . They have just let it collect rain and then sent it down to San Diego for them to drink . This is a no body contact lake and no speed boats or skiing either . Fishing and slow boats . . . nice! Unfortunately, there were no fish to photograph . It's too early for the spawn yet and the bass are lethargic .

2007-03-01 23:53:00 | I just have to ask... even though I'm scared of what the answer may be- What is a 'no body contact' lake? :stare: | Shortcircuit (1666) | |
2007-03-01 23:57:00 | When is a good time to prune trees? I know in a few months when trees start losing their leaves and flowers it creates mass covering on my front lawn. Is it best to do it in spring? Or should I do it in the cooler climate of Autumn?

2007-03-02 02:28:00 | Never tried fresh water bass. I bet it doesn't come close to sea bass in flavour. The lake looks good. But man the surrounding area looks dry dry dry!

It's still pretty warm - in Jaffaville, anyway. |

2007-03-02 03:01:00 | Nice photos SJ I have a couple of very good photos to upload to "New Zealanders to See" but cannot logon for some reason. Was pretty sure that I had the password okay but it was rejected. Then I tried the first option for resetting which was for them to email me however even though I asked for it a couple of times it has not arrived. That may be because I am not using a hotmail account, but instead Fred_Dagg@xtra.co.nz. Then tried the second option where I was able to access my MSN account after proving I was not a robot and answering the secret question. I reset the password very carefully then re-entered and was told that I had successfully changed the password. However going back to logon it was not accepted. I seem therefore to be persona non grata ! I had similar problems today with iTunes as was buying a couple of Tom Waits songs --- however solved that by rebooting my PC, then all was well. However that did not fix the MSN scenario. I remember having all kinds of problems to join the group and MSN in the first place. Hate to say this, SJ, but I wish you had used something more user friendly like Skype !!!!! Misty :(
