| 528946 | 2007-02-28 23:12:00 | I'm quite pissed off with QMB computers as they lied to me about the problem of the computer and tried to rip me off! My computer was taken to them several times since it had a problem starting up. At first I figured maybe I need to re-install XP but when I took it to them, they said it was a problem with the connection. when the same problem happened for the second time I took it back and this time I was told that theres some problem with the motherboard and that I need to replace it and it will cost me $250. Each time I went the guys there seemed to have a different problem lined up. Later that week I took the computer to a friend of mine and I was told it only had a loose connection and guess what? he fixed it and it's working fine! What I dont understand is that they tested the computer several times and lied to me the whole time wanting to rip me off!! I'm so pissed off and I wouldn't mind taking this matter further! I trusted them to do a proper job abd fix the computer. I wonder how many customers they have ripped off over the years! Can someone please let me know how I should take this matter further. This is unffair and these ppl should stop ripping customers off!! |

| 528948 | 2007-02-28 23:33:00 | Well I have bought from QMB at least 30 times, from components to numerous assembled PC's. I have had to return something maybe twice and have not been charged for them to sort these problems out, which they have done. I continue to use them (and just received an order this morning), continue to recommend them and will do so until I feel it is justified not to. They provide a good cost v service mix I believe. Interesting this is your first post. Maybe there is some other motive to this? :2cents: |
