528241 2007-02-26 06:10:00 Just got one of those silly e-mails from Xtra with a psuedo ASCII pic that appears to be two people snogging... but wait... yes wait and check your e-mail.... something's coming... snigger.

Obviously done by the tragic advertising agency that did the Ferrit ads.

When will people (and advertising agencies) realise that trying to be cool is totally uncool.

What irks me even more is that they sent a copy to my business e-mail as well

528242 2007-02-26 06:15:00 It isn't spam if you are their customer. I get heaps of these things from vodafone too. It will also be in their terms about sending you advertising from time to time. You can email them to remove your address from their mailing list. rogerp (6864)

Nah- it's spam... and slightly immature spam at that

528244 2007-02-26 07:21:00 Ferrit? good God, that site sucks so much that its not funny any more not to mention the unbelievably appalling ads. beeswax34 (63)
528245 2007-02-26 08:34:00 Two people snogging..?

Is that what it is, Shortcircuit?
Your imagination's much more interesting than mine.

Frankly, I couldn't get any definitive picture from the XXXXs on the page.
I settled for maybe a potplant?
As I've just returned from the garden centre with one of those, your suggestion holds more promise...

528246 2007-02-26 08:48:00 Might this, possibly, be the advert for the new Xtra/Yahoo thingy?? Look at Telecom's "Max" website. PJ Poppa John (284)

Actually, I was saving that hemisphere for my potplant placing.
Obviously I need to re-think priorities.

528250 2007-02-26 09:03:00 Really? My parents got an email from xtra@xtra.co.nz saying to keep a watch on their inbox for a mail from them....apparently it's a surprise.

Do I have the right to be suspicious?
