732884 2008-12-27 21:30:00 going to get a subscription but have some questions

When will the magazine come if you live in christchurch(riccarton)?
will it come with the DVD snaped into millions of pieces?
will it be delivered to my door or my mail box?

732885 2008-12-27 21:38:00 If you're talking about PC world, it comes in a clear plastic wrap - in the letterbox ( assuming you have one) :D

Its basically exactly like the ones in the shops but delivered to you - sometimes it comes the same time the shops get it, sometimes after (up to a week or more later)
The DVD - depends on how bad the postal service is - never had one broken yet, our post lady sometimes folds the mag and puts it in the slot, most of the time she opens the lid on the mail box and puts it in (flattish).

732886 2008-12-27 21:38:00 DVD has always been fine for me, and it gets delivered to the mailbox. I wouldn't have thought that it would be slower than your usual mail. I generally get my copies the beginning of the week the shops start stocking it. the_bogan (9949)
732887 2008-12-27 22:11:00 the postman would have to put it in the inner space right? pcuser7895 (12979)

Dunno - depends what your postman is like, some dont give a hoot (really like there job :p ) others may be a bit more careful. We have a 'flap" at the front of the mailbox for papers, mags etc - but thats never used by the post.

732891 2008-12-28 01:44:00 Might be best to get any magazine delivered to your place and see what happens :) jwil1 (65)
732892 2008-12-28 01:52:00 Ever tried to break a CD/DVD with your bare hands? It's hard. I think the likelihood of even NZ Post managing it is pretty small. Deane F (8204)
