732743 2008-12-27 20:10:00 I Have been having problems for the past couple of weeks.
On first start up of the day my system will not connect to the net. If I reboot my router it generaly connects, but sometimes it requires a second or third reboot. When it does connect my download speed is half of what it had been for previous six months.

In "event viewer/ Applications" there are 4 Identical error messages every time my computer is rebooted. The "source" is recorded as "Userenv"

Windows cannot query DllName registry entry for {7B849a69-220F-451E-B3FE-2CB811AF94AE} and it will not be loaded. This is most likely caused by a faulty registration.

Can anyone explain to me what this means and how do I go about fixing it?

My second problem is I am getting "lockups" about once or twice an hour. These locuups only occur when I am running "MS Flight Sim X" My mouse and keyboard won't work and the mouse pointer disappears. But the picture stays on the screen, though all movement ceases. The only solution is a push button reboot. I have done a complete uninstall/reinstall of DSX with still the same problem.

I would appreciate any advice,
Thank you

Running Win XP pro with sp3

732744 2008-12-27 20:34:00 Are you using the beta version of IE 8?

If you are, it may have something to do with this

732746 2008-12-27 20:41:00 Undo your overclocking and see if the problems disappear. pctek (84)
732747 2008-12-27 20:47:00 Reinstall IE8 and the problem may disappear, sometimes when you remove IE8 Beta it leaves parts behind that have conflicts /problems - it is after all beta software.

Regarding the lockups - have you done a memory test - if not download Memtest86 and run a test.

Just asked my mate the MSFSX player - he was getting the same problem, with totally different hardware to you, XP, SP1, no overclocking. He says its driver issues (Nvidia)
