530747 2007-03-06 22:52:00 I like to make my own collection of songs, but I have made so many now that I dont know whats on the anymore.

So I thought Id start making covers for them. I have Roxio but its quite limiting, I want to get quite creative on some of them.

Any recommendations?

Plus Im trying to design some covers for my own music and a couple of local bands demos, this is where I really want to get a decent program installed.

Cheers for the help.

530749 2007-03-07 00:05:00 Nero has its own cd cover making program.

If u have a lightscribe burner, this will save u getting cds with labels on them.

But then, you'll have to change the blank cd's.

530751 2007-03-07 10:24:00 The software that came with our new Canon iP4300 printer is excellent - far more straightforward than Nero's. So there ya go Rob - 180 bucks for the software and get a great colour printer thrown in for free! :D Greg (193)

Yea, sounds good, I need a new printer. The thing I find fustrating is how the Roxio one I have, saves it as a roxio file kind of thing. Is there a way to save it as a Jpeg or anything? It wont let me change the file type on the save screen.

530754 2007-03-07 21:29:00 What I have done for years is just take a screen shot of the contents of the CD, edit with Irfanview, or "the gimp" if you want the power of Photoshop without the cost, then print to an A4 sheet. You can then either use this as an insert for a CD case ore make it into an envelope. Of course you can get as creative as you like in the editing stage but I find a directory/file list gives all the information you need. JackStraw (6573)
