531030 2007-03-09 02:14:00 *** Bletch starts googling for answers to the toaster problem ***

531031 2007-03-09 03:14:00 Bletch - About number 8, I've seen 'toaster notifications' implemented in Microsoft Outlook Web Access and Microsoft Web Messenger. Yknow, just a chromeless animated popup, wouldn't it still trigger if the chatf1 tab/window isn't focused?

Yeeeeeep! Do I have to go back to Win3.11 so I can run a toaster screensaver? I hope not. :-)

Pfft! just use a flat frypan. Lightly butter both side of the bread and then fry each side for a few minutes on Medium heat until golden brown and crispy.

If you have Vista or ME, 3.11 is an upgrade.

And Bletch, by "Gongs" I was referring to medals, but yeah, some kind of announce tone could be handy. (All good sites have a bit of tone.)

....perhaps the plaintive cry of the Kiwi bird in mating season.

531035 2007-03-09 06:16:00 Long season for some birds ;)

And frequently an imperative rather than plaintive yodel. But I wouldn't know.
