529848 2007-03-04 06:09:00 I can see the cause clearly.

You all drive on the wrong side of the road in the US.

529849 2007-03-04 06:17:00 So, you can't get him to redo the whole thing for a final "take"? Even if you explain that you weren't fully prepared for the filming? Nah. Probably against rules of coroner-ship or something. R2x1 (4628)
529850 2007-03-04 17:24:00 Well . . today's news says it was a Mexican woman who had a blowout in a front tire . . . . and she wasn't wearing a seatbelt and got thrown out and died upon impact with the center guard rail .

It is typical of most Mexican drivers to NOT wear a seatbelt as it is some sort of insult to their driving abilities . . . . they are a very proud race . . . and a lot of them are dead for that pride .

Another interesting point is that blowouts are very rare here . . . we don't usually hear of that happening any more .

I am not discounting the possibility that she had used tires on the truck and one might've failed that way by being run in the opposite direction of original rotation . Radials do that if they get run backwards from their original installed rotation . They de-laminate and fail .

Speeds on that freeway run about 90-100 mph (160 . 9 kph) anyway . . . the posted limit is 75 mph (120 . 7 kph), but no-one every obeys it .

This kinda reminds me of a scene from "Mom & Dad Save The World" . . . a very bad grade-c movie that has some aliens in training about a grenade . . and one by one they all die trying to learn how it works by pulling the pin . :groan:

529852 2007-03-04 22:54:00 Probably...but she got killed b/o being thrown out and landing in the guard rail where she bled to death.

The newest reports are that she had 4 small kids and no husband.
