2008-12-26 22:53:00 | My 15-month old Enermax PSU gave me a nice Xmas present on Xmas day - it blew up - so now I'm trying to find a contact to make a warranty claim. Can anyone help with this please? | FoxyMX (5) | |
2008-12-26 23:03:00 | where was it purchased from?, I'd start there | GameJunkie (72) | |
2008-12-26 23:04:00 | Tried the place you purchased it from ? Mind you some places only put on a 1 year warranty - even though the US warranty (www.enermaxusa.com) says limited 3 year. Theres the key word LIMITED - something simple like a power surge voids warranties.

2008-12-26 23:08:00 | I got it from TasTech in ChCh. I discovered that his warranty period is 12 months but I see that all Enermax PSUs on Ascent have a three-year warranty. I would rather deal with the supplier as I don't feel like arguing with TasTech and he's on holiday until the 12 Jan anyway. | FoxyMX (5) | |

2008-12-27 00:22:00 | Contact Enermax themselves and explain the situation. Their website has had a "Website Under Construction" notice since Xmas day but I see it has finally "opened" now. Will now give them a buzz and see what they say but I would have preferred to deal with a NZ distributor.
