529758 2007-03-03 22:03:00 Ive been curious about this for some time now, what is the set up in those recycle trucks?

do the have a left and right steering wheel or driving set up, or is there something else?

Only recently I have noticed on our street there is only one guy collecting and driving, but when he moves the truck, he jumps on the passenger side, reaches in and moves the truck.

529760 2007-03-04 00:28:00 They have left and right setups, the left is exactly the same as the right, it just makes it easier and also the drain/gutter cleaning trucks have that same setup The_End_Of_Reality (334)
529761 2007-03-04 01:41:00 Not always exactly the same. The left can be a standing position with a wheel like a boat. The brakes come on if the driver isn't there to save embarrassment if he falls out. PaulD (232)
