733797 2008-12-31 01:47:00 how do i go about uninstalling SQL Server 2005 off my win2k3 file server without getting "an application or driver failed to start properly" errors when i restart? aidanmaz (7180)
733798 2008-12-31 07:18:00 Disable the service in services, if 2k3 has services

I had to do the same thing, I tried mediaportal 1 the other day. It did nothing but crash, and it needed SQL server. It left 3 of the SQL services in services. I had to go thru the registry to remove them.

I could have disabled the services, but why have it when nothing else uses it

Or uninstall it, if you havent yet

I dont know if its because Im using a PCI normal tuner, instead of a digital tuner.

Altho, it worked previously when I installed it a few yrs ago. With the same tuner
