| 733447 | 2008-12-29 18:44:00 | I have two drives, C: has XP and G: has Vista. I have beggered XP and will need to reinstate it. What will happen if I disconnect the C: drive for the time being and boot into Vista? Will the Vista drive automatically become C: and all references to G: be replaced by C:? |

And no, G wont change to C If you reinstall XP, you'll have to reinstall Vista as well. Since its not a good idea, installing a previous version (XP) if a later version of Windows (Vista) is installed It may make things worse |
