2007-03-13 08:01:00 | Just as a matter of idle interest will DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink run under Vista? Hypothetically that is.................. | Winston001 (3612) | |
2007-03-13 08:05:00 | Hypothetically, in my experience, they will. (Short answer yes: I used DVD-Decrypter to rip an ISO of a Linux CD because I didn't have any other software installed which could do it). | somebody (208) | |

2007-03-13 09:13:00 | I think it supports DVD Decrypter, because Vista is much more advanced than windows 9X/xp :dogeye:

2007-03-13 11:05:00 | No idea what 'more advanced that windows 9X/xp' gets at in relation to application compatibility I can confirm DVD Region-Free (From dvdidle.com) works nicely with DVD Shrink. Had some problems with the install the first time around of Region-Free, I thought it'd hung, it was just taking an _insane_ amount of time!

2007-03-14 21:30:00 | There may be a problem forum.digital-digest.com Vista is supposedly restrictive about playback hardware that isn't DRM'd. It would only be a short step to stopping software that offended the Movie/Music industry. The developer of DVDD was forced to stop working on that program and he's now doing a CD/DVD burner with no ripping ability
