532132 2008-12-28 08:40:00 Ah. My days of wasting money on Yagi antennas have come to an end, terrestrial TV is only beneficial for the guano pumps that like perching on antennas. ;) R2x1 (4628)
532133 2008-12-28 11:43:00 My friend is wanting to put free view in and it was around the $700 mark.

$400 for the box. .She had to buy a UHF antenna,HDMI cable and had to pay for installation.I think it all add up to $750.

I checked about 4-5 companies around Auckland. They all seem to charge the same price.

I Wish I know which companies are good

She hasn't bought it yet:)

but the free view website states that the price of a HD freeview box cost $400?

The guy who quoted us the price says there's only 1 HD free view box available.

I feel as though he is lieing

532136 2008-12-29 01:23:00 The HD UHF is a bit different to the Satellite, however just cause the freeview website says that, don't believe a word of it. :D

Their recommended box might be $400.

The $211 DSE box will be fine.

I'm jealous of you, we don't get the HD in nelson, only satellite. :crying Still though, it's a lot nicer than Sky.

532139 2008-12-29 04:42:00 But then after buying the box we still need someone to install the antenna.Hmm

Anyone know of a good company that does free view installation.?

532140 2008-12-29 06:39:00 I take it the $211 one is the none antenna jobbie. Cicero (40)
