733315	2008-12-29 10:53:00	Most software key generators or cracks are not malware. They are just detected as such by the AV companies because they are illegal. Of course a fair amount contain real viruses. You should be wary of this. You also should pay for good software if it's useful to you. However, there are a lot of very good anti-virus/malware/spyware etc programs which are FREE. If you can't afford to or don't wish to buy a paid one then you'd probably be better off using one of those than 1) breaking the law and 2) possibly getting more viruses. Comodo (www.comodo.com) produces some very good free security products, and Antivirus like AVG Free, Avast!, and Avira AntiVir Personal (my favourite, although it does not scan emails if you're using a program like outlook so take note of that) are also very good. For anti-malware/spyware there are programs like Spybot search & destroy, AdAware free, A-Squared Free, SuperAntiSpyware, Spywareblaster .. the list goes on!	Agent_24 (57)
733316	2008-12-29 13:05:00	Lol i have the best(or i think so) AVG 8. and i cant be bothered geting 5 different anti-virus/spyware malware etc programes. i just stick with avg and spybot. apart from that thanks gary i didnt know that notebooks used usb.... and i not being shady i just dont wanna fcuk up my pc or his. its not even his its some organizations that he works for. and he doesnt know alot; he does have avg and i installed spybot 1.4(but couldnt get 1.6 on there) but the main problem is he doesnt like change so i want to be able to maintain his pc while being discreet at the same time; he knows im doing it i just dont want more stuff on his pc; and if i can do a usb or hdd thing it means i can remove avg from his system and spybot which means his laptop will work alot faster. 733318	2008-12-30 11:55:00	Its not so much a company as it is an organization. im not sure about ownership but from what ive heard the organization gave it to him. i dont know if it was for loan or keeps.... they got it for free from some local business i think. and the situations not bad enough to call in a professional IT person(apart from myself =) ) buyt its just minor stuff. it doesnt especially affect him; its just because when i login to it i find it incredibly slow and the frustrates the hell out of me. so all in all there no real problem except speed. and that doesnt really matter to him; it matters more to me when im using it to find or update stuff for him.... At the end of the day its up to the owner to decide if they want stuff done. You shouldn't be playing around with the computer without their permission, what happens if you accidentally break the computer while removing the hdd or delete/corrupt some the data..........	stormdragon (6013)
