532762	2007-03-14 08:12:00	Erm, Massey University is nowhere near New Plymouth. As someone who goes there every weekday I feel qualified to make this statement. :) Thanks for pointing that out. I forgot about that. I have updated my profile to reflect that I am now in Palmerston North. I was born and bred in New Plymouth though... It is still home to me, and probably always will be, even if I never live there again.	Sherman (9181)

532764	2007-03-14 08:55:00	I'm studying a BSc, with my major being computer science. And to be honest, I wasn't really sure how long a responsee would be in coming, if any... I normally wouldn't have even thought of writing a thread like this..... I dunno what was wrong with me. It must have been the intense calculus lecture that I had in the last hour. 532766	2007-03-14 09:06:00	Thanks. The main reasons I have started to use the mac's is a) there is always quite a few free and b) they log in within a few seconds, instead of minutes. I still have to be a windows person though because my programming paper uses microsoft visual C# as our language. That requires windows.	Sherman (9181)

Boot Camp or Parallels, the later of which will run Vista on a Mac. I don't imagine that Massey would have either installed .You could ask although it would only be relevant for home use as I would imagine that you would naturally be doing all of your work on one of the PCs in the lab.	winmacguy (3367)
