| 733841 | 2008-12-31 10:13:00 | A friend bought a Hewlett Packard lap top over a year ago with vista. I set it up with anti virus, firewall and other software. During this time it has never been updated, apart from ant virus data. It has never crashed or misbehaved in any way. Is this normal for Vista? |

| 733842 | 2008-12-31 10:54:00 | Jovial answer: Hell no! It is not normal unless it is left to stand on its own without third party software's help. Sarcastic answer: Uhm I guess, though I think the laptop will more likely to crash as a result of hardware malfunction (it's HP that we are talking about). :p Serious answer: Is SP1 installed for Windows Vista? |

I can run Quake 1 (with a game engine mod called Vengeance 2) in full Vista, that probably demonstrates something I s'pose :banana:nerd:. | feersumendjinn (64) | ||

Yes, if your hardware can handle it then no problems at all. |

You mean it has never crashed or misbehaved YET. I'd make an image of it right now. The one huge fault I've found is that Windows Repair doesn't work with Vista. |
