532389 2007-03-12 10:06:00 Looks like there's another program to remove malware called Rogueremover (www.malwarebytes.org)

A free and a Pro version.

Looks like its safe. As its mentioned on the HJT site (http://www.merijn.org/)

And also on the Spyware Warrior site (spywarewarrior.com) saying:

Also, there is a dedicated "rogue anti-spyware" remover application that cleans many of the worst applications listed on this page:

And its got an update option in it.

It scans files/folders/registry entries and reg values.

Looks like the only diff between the free and Pro, is the Pro has something to check what goes in the registry.

532392 2007-03-13 01:47:00 Sorry to imply that I used IE...I am a FF devotee, but I found that FF would not load a full page for the RogueRemover (www.malwarebytes.org) thing, and tried it out of kicks and giggles...NOPE!

IE was broken as was MSN Exploder and even M$ Updates page.

It's fixed by now..but who cares anyway?
