531927 2007-03-11 06:40:00 When you play a sample of a song on Amazon, iTunes and other sellers they always play you the first 20 seconds or so. Sometimes that is fine and gives a clear idea. However, other times there is a long instrumental introduction or if it is duet you do not necessarily hear the main singer you have interest in.

Are there any sites that play random parts of the song or give a bigger sample where you can get a better overview before purchasing ? Suspect not (legitimate ones anyway !)

531928 2007-03-11 06:48:00 I don't know of any such sites, I too find it irritating when the clip only plays the introduction.

Just recently I have been unable to play Amazon windows media clips properly, they are playing too fast with the sound like chipmunks. It is only happening with Amazon WM clips, not with other wma audio files.

I'm using WMP 9 but have tried WMP10 and 11 with the same result. I cant get the Amazon clips to open with Media Player Classic.

Anyone had this problem?

itunes usually plays the song from the chorus, and not from the beginning of the track. I usually can easily tell the song from listening to an itunes preview
