| 734577 | 2009-01-02 22:05:00 | Hi guys I have a friends PC with Windows XP on it and an Nvidia Gforce 6200 card. If we go into the display settings and change the display resolution, that works OK. But when we re-boot the Windows XP desktop shows briefly at the required settings (medium res), then it reverts back to a setting we do not want (low res). Any thoughts or suggestions ? |

| 734580 | 2009-01-03 18:15:00 | Still no luck. U have reinstalled the driver software We change the settings on the Nvidia control panel to the same as the Windows Desktop setting. But when we re-boot the desktop comes up as we want it for a few seconds then the screen goes blank and it reverst to a very low res. I looked in the BIOS and could not see any settings to disable on board video. What else can I try ? |
