| 734245 | 2009-01-02 02:20:00 | I have XP on the primary disk (active partition) and Vista on a second HHD as a secondary? partition. If I disconnect the XP drive and just leave the Vista drive, how do I activate that partition leaving all the data intact? I wouldn't want to have to reload a perfectly good Vista installation again! I have made a floppy boot disk for the Vista that will boot me into Vista. In essence it does work, I just need to activate the Vista HHD and then I can add back the XP drive but this time XP will be the secondary O/S on the second HHD. Any thoughts? |
