| 734241 | 2009-01-02 01:41:00 | Have a relative with Dell Vostro 1500 laptop, Vista Business, Mouse used instead of touchpad. When writing a message in Gmail every roughly third to fifth word a letter is omitted, you can backtrack and insert the missing letter no problem, but this slows things down. In MS Word or other programmes no problems with typing text, ie no problem with the keyboard. The relative said other friends have got a similar problem. it appears to be a setting problem in Gmail. | 734243 | 2009-01-02 09:33:00 | In which browser does this happen, IE or Firefox or another one? Try changing browsers or reinstall the problem browser. And yea of course the other solution is to use a mail client, like thunderbird, which makes things a lot easier imo and gmail supports imap so its cool. |
