| 733952 | 2009-01-01 06:00:00 | using desktop computer IBM with XP and LCD monitor just goes black.. and says check cable.. check cable.. try restart... it goes for 5 minutes maybe. try again later... same ....update the driver, nothing....do system restore.. nothing..virus scan, nothing... buy new cable, nothing... think the monitor is dead. Go and get the old CRT monitor out and crank it... goes great... 5minutes. then breaks up.... funny thing is it will run fine (the CRT one..) on safe mode... didnt try the LCD on safe mode.. think maybe a conflict somewhere but it is hubby's pc and we NEVER change anything on it... he hates change.. any ideas ?? |
