Don't get me wrong, I am not pro Intel and bashing AMD. A gamer friend of mine insists that generally AMD pcu's are faster, better, and most of what I have read here on PF1 supports this view. Is it just user perceptions, opinions, or is there factual data to support how AMD performs? | 533038 | 2007-03-14 20:25:00 | Intel ruled first. Then AMD improved and was King. That changed with Intels Core Duos. Who knows what will happen later on.......... If Intel hadn't had competition from AMD then they probably would have sat on their behinds and not improved their next lot. |

And after the Feb. edition, I feel compelled to keep the salt handy when reading PC World. We may once again find, like Mark Twain, that rumours of the death were somewhat exaggerated. |
